Marketing Research – Audit and Plan for Dyson’s New Products


You will assume the role of the Marketing Manager at Dyson and have been tasked with creating the marketing plan for one of their new products, after doing research and focusing on the theories and discussions we have explored in this module.

  • Do some research on the newest Dyson products (Vacuum, hair dryer, straightener – pick one)
  • Do some research on sector and environment that is trying to compete within?

 How does it capture value?

  • Think about if it’s true innovation or slight change to already existing product and how this enables Dyson to complete/differentiate.
  • Make evidenced and theory based recommendations on all marketing decisions.

Examples may include but are not limited to its Name, Pricing strategy, Supplying decisions, etc.
